Greek hotel management company HotelBrain has announced the appointment of Fotis Fakes as its Managing Director of Large Scale Properties.
Fakes is a prominent figure in the Greek tourism market, experienced in general management and cluster management. His rich background of experience includes the position of Managing Director for DER Touristik Hotels & Investments Greece of the REWE Group.
His appointment comes at a time when HotelBrain is expanding to the management of large scale hotels, such as the Cretan Pearl Resort & Spa in Chania (Crete) and the Ammos Resort on Kos. Both hotels have been added to the company’s growing portfolio.
According to HotelBrain, the recently renovated Cretan Pearl Resort and Spa has been upgraded in accordance to a new “easy going” summer style, exactly as required by the new modern lifestyle luxury. “The Cretan Pearl Resort and Spa is ready to welcome the discerning and experienced visitors of the new season.”
Moreover, HotelBrain is very close to closing deals for the long-term exploitation of three major hotel units on the islands of Corfu and Rhodes.
Founded in 2009, HotelBrain was named Europe’s Leading Hotel Management Company for the second time in a row at this year’s World Travel Awards.
