Electra Hotels & Resorts has made a host of new appointments among its staff, ahead of the opening of its new 5-star hotel ‘Metropolis’ in Athens.
George Spyropoulos joins the Electra Hotels & Resorts team as the General Manager of the soon to open Metropolis, bringing some 15 years of experience that includes work with top Greek hotels Makedonia Palace, The Met, Porto Carras Grand Resort, Athenaeum Intercontinental Athens and Aldemar Resorts. The new Electra Metropolis Hotel is expected to open at the end of June.
The hotel group, also welcomes Kalliopi Karantemiri as Human Resources Director. Her current role draws on her over 17 years of experience from her position as Human Resources & Quality Director at Aldemar Resorts. At Electra, Kalliopi eill be in charge of Recruitment & Selection, Training & Developement, Planning, Monitoring & Appraising, Budgeting, Assessing & Maintaining Benefits needs
The new additions to the hotel include the introduction of Evdokia Tsatsouri as the new Sales Manager of the five-star Electra Palace Thessaloniki and four-star Electra Athens hotels. Evdokia joins the Electra team following her position as Marketing Manager of the Thessaloniki Hotels Association where she specialized in Tourism Destination Marketing and City Branding.
